Silence figé / Frozen Silence is not about peace, but about the moment when the flow of emotion comes to a halt. The matte black face, brushed with hazy white strokes—like a frozen breath or a suspended memory—evokes a silence that cannot be voiced.
The closed eyes speak a quiet refusal: to see, to speak, to respond. The layers of paint resemble frost, ash, or stone weathered by time—remnants of things never said.
The mask rests gently atop a perfume bottle—like a question mark posed to the invisible things we carry. The work draws a poetic connection between scent and silence—both intangible, both elusive. It invites us not to look with our eyes, but with presence. Not to listen with our ears, but with stillness.

Silence figé / Sự tĩnh lặng bị đông cứng không phải là sự yên bình, mà là khoảnh khắc ngừng lại giữa dòng chảy cảm xúc. Khuôn mặt màu đen mờ – phủ lên những vệt trắng nhòe như hơi thở đông lại hoặc ký ức lơ lửng – gợi lên một sự im lặng không thốt thành lời.
Đôi mắt như một lời từ chối: không nhìn, không nói, không phản hồi. Những lớp màu gợi liên tưởng đến sương giá, tro tàn, hay lớp đá đã bị thời gian ăn mòn - phần còn lại của những điều chưa từng được nói ra.
